GetVault Terms of Use

1. Acceptance, eligibility and your account

These Terms are an agreement between you and GetVault Tech Private Limited (CIN U62091GJ2026PTC180975), registered at 509, International Finance Center, Opposite Vesu Fire Station, VIP Road, Vesu, Surat 395007, Gujarat (“GetVault”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the GetVault app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

To use the Service you must be at least 18, a resident of India, and able to enter a binding contract. You must give accurate information, including your own mobile number and PAN.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your phone, OTPs and device lock secure. Tell us immediately at info@getvault.in if you think someone has accessed your account.

2. What GetVault is, and is not

GetVault is a technology platform. It lets you see and organise financial information you choose to link or add, for yourself and your family, and shows factual analysis of it, such as allocation, returns, fund overlap and spending categories.

GetVault is not an investment adviser, research analyst, stockbroker, distributor or bank. Nothing in the app is investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or product. Calculators, analysis, goal projections and educational content are for information only, use assumptions that may not hold, and do not guarantee any outcome. Past performance does not indicate future results.

GetVault does not execute trades, move money or hold your funds or securities. You make your own financial decisions and should consult a SEBI-registered professional where needed.

If the app later offers access to products or services of regulated entities, those entities will be named on the relevant screen, will be responsible for their own services, and their own terms will apply in addition to these.

3. Linked accounts and data accuracy

You link accounts through Finvu, an RBI-licensed Account Aggregator. Finvu's own terms apply to its service. You authorise each data fetch by approving a consent, and you can revoke a consent at any time.

Data in the app comes from banks, depositories, fund houses, registrars and market-data providers. It may be delayed, incomplete or contain errors, and prices and valuations are not real-time. Always rely on statements from the original institution for any decision, tax filing or legal purpose. We are not responsible for errors in data supplied by third parties, but please report them to us and we will investigate.

The app relies on third-party services such as Finvu, hosting and messaging providers. We are not liable for their outages or failures, though we will work to restore the Service quickly.

4. Family sharing and acceptable use

Family. You may invite family members and share specific accounts with them. You may add or manage another person only with their permission, and only link accounts that belong to you or that you are legally authorised to manage. You are responsible for what you choose to share and with whom. You can stop sharing at any time.

You agree not to:

• link or view accounts you are not authorised to access, or impersonate anyone;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or money laundering;
• copy, reverse engineer, scrape or resell the app or its data, except as the law allows;
• interfere with the Service's security or overload its systems;
• upload malware or harmful content.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

5. Fees, ownership and ending your use

Fees. The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you the price in advance, and you will not be charged unless you agree.

Ownership. The app, its design, software, content and the GetVault name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes. Your financial data remains yours.

Ending your use. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where possible. Data is then handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 6 to 8 continue to apply after your account ends.

6. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will be complete or current.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any investment, trading or financial loss, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its information. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or gross negligence.

You agree to compensate us for losses caused by your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your linking of accounts you were not authorized to access.

7. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally within 30 days. If that does not work, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects you, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
